About Our Name
At Lock3 Media, we draw our inspiration from the strength and spirit of those who came before us. In the mid 1800’s the Grand River Navigation Company constructed a series of locks on the Grand, hoping to bring prosperity to the river valley. The canal was operational for only a few years, but its impact (for better or for worse) is still being felt today. Lock 3, otherwise known as Sim’s lock, is our company’s namesake.
